What to expect
The private Kawasan canyoneering experience
This is one of the Philippines' most rewarding adventure routes. Starting from Matutinao village in Badian, you navigate 4–5 kilometres of the Matutinao River canyon over 3–4 hours — finishing at the iconic three-tiered Kawasan Falls.
Every jump is optional. Every slide is briefed. Your private guide sets the pace around your group — not a shared tour's fastest hiker.
What's in the canyon
- Natural water slides — smooth rock chutes that funnel into clear pools
- Cliff jumps (3 m, 5 m, 8 m) — fully optional, guides demonstrate first; most first-timers try the 3 m jump
- Deep swim sections — 20–30 metres; life jackets provided, guide assistance available
- Rope rappel descent — one short guide-assisted drop into a plunge pool
- Rest stops — we pace for your group's energy, not a fixed tour schedule
- Kawasan Falls finish — swim into the turquoise pool under the mist, rest on bamboo rafts
