About us

Private Cebu tour specialists since 2014

We started Cebu OK Travel because we kept seeing the same problem: great destinations, crowded shared tours, and travelers who deserved a better experience. We fixed that — one private group at a time.

Our story

Why private tours are our main service

When we started in 2014, most Cebu tours put strangers together in a bus, ran on a fixed clock, and rushed everyone through the highlights. A family with young children had to keep pace with a group of twenty-somethings. A couple wanting to linger at Kawasan Falls got moved on when the guide called time.

Private tours remain our main service: your group only, your vehicle, your guide, and your pace. We also publish selected small-group joiner departures when the date, route, guest limit, and shared format are clearly stated before booking.

What started as a small Cebu City operation has grown into a full-service tour company serving guests from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Germany, the United States, the UK, Spain, France, the Middle East, and across Southeast Asia. We never add outside joiners to a booking sold as private.

Our approach to booking

We check availability before we ask for payment. Every inquiry gets a real human response — not a booking form that auto-confirms without checking. Once we confirm the date and send a written quote, you can reserve with PHP 500. The rest is paid on the day of the tour.

We think that's how it should work. You shouldn't have to pay before you know a tour is actually available.

Who we serve

Built for international travelers

Cebu is one of the Philippines' most-visited destinations, but most online information about tours is in English only — which creates real friction for Japanese, Korean, and Chinese-speaking travelers planning a trip. We built our service around multilingual communication from the beginning.

We handle inquiries and tour coordination in:

  • Japanese (日本語) — LINE and email coordination, Japanese-language itineraries
  • Korean (한국어) — KakaoTalk and WhatsApp, Korean-speaking liaison
  • Traditional Chinese (繁體中文) — Taiwan and Hong Kong travelers
  • Simplified Chinese (简体中文) — WeChat and Xiaohongshu inquiries
  • English — all English-speaking markets
  • Spanish, German, French — European travelers
  • Arabic — Middle East guests

We don't use machine translation for bookings. When you write to us in Japanese, a Japanese-literate team member responds. Same for Korean and Chinese. That matters when you're coordinating pickup times, safety questions, and dietary requirements before a 14-hour adventure day.

Trust & transparency

What we promise every guest

  • No payment before availability is confirmed. Every inquiry gets a real availability check first. We send a written confirmation before we request any money.
  • Written quotes before you commit. Your quote includes pickup time, inclusions, exclusions, and total price — in writing. No surprises on tour day.
  • Private means private. We never add outside joiners to your private booking. Separate joiner departures are clearly labelled before reservation.
  • Weather-safe cancellation. If conditions are unsafe, we reschedule or refund — fully. We check weather 24 hours before every tour.
  • Honest about fitness & safety. If a tour isn't right for your group, we say so. We'd rather give you honest advice than take a booking that leads to a bad experience.

The most common themes: "the guide was excellent," "finally a tour that moved at our pace," "I didn't realize private could be this affordable," and "we'll use them again on our next trip."
