How we operate, in plain terms
Registration, on-the-ground safety practices, and what's covered when you book a private tour with Cebu OK Travel. No vague claims, no marketing gloss.
Private vehicle and guide policy
Every private tour runs with one vehicle and one guide assigned to your group only, unless you book a group departure yourself. Your driver and guide stay with your group for the full day. We don't mix private bookings into a shared bus with other travelers.
Water activity safety
For whale shark, snorkeling, and island-hopping activities, guests are asked their swimming ability before the tour. Guests who can't swim confidently in open water are required to wear a life vest for the full activity. Guides brief every group on distance rules, entry and exit points, and local marine-sanctuary rules (for example, the Oslob whale shark interaction rules: 4-meter distance, no touching, no flash photography) before anyone enters the water.
Canyoneering and land activity safety
Canyoneering, hiking, and waterfall activities are run with a local guide who leads the route and sets the pace for your group's ability level. Guides brief the group on jump heights, current conditions, and opt-out points before each obstacle.
Emergency contact on file
Every guest provides an emergency contact name and number as part of the booking waiver before the activity date, so we can reach someone quickly if needed.
What we don't provide
Cebu OK Travel does not provide health, accident, or travel insurance for tour participants. Medical expenses, emergency evacuation costs, and other personal costs arising during a tour are the responsibility of each guest. We strongly recommend arranging your own travel insurance before your trip. Full terms are on the Risk Waiver Agreement page.
Confirmed before you pay
We check date, vehicle, and guide availability first and send written confirmation with pickup time, route, and total price before asking for payment. Nothing is charged on a guess.
