Why many guests choose private

You set the pickup time. Whale shark days start at 3:00 AM from Cebu City and 2:30 AM from outside it. Your vehicle and driver serve only your party all day, so a slow riser or a curious kid never holds up anyone else, and nobody holds you up either.

One boat is shared by rule: the Oslob whale shark boat. The Oslob local government does not allow private boats, so every guest and every operator shares it. Everything else is private to your group. The only other shared boat is the optional Sumilon joiner boat (PHP 850 per person). A private Sumilon boat is PHP 1,800 per person.

Add stops to your day as add-ons, such as Tumalog Falls, Sumilon, Kawasan Falls or Moalboal snorkeling. A whale-shark day can include the shorter Kawasan Falls swimming visit (about 2 hours) and Moalboal sardine snorkeling in the same day. Kawasan canyoneering is longer and cannot be combined with Moalboal on the same day. If you start with Moalboal, whale sharks move to another morning. Private booking opens at 2 guests, with no headcount minimum to hit before we confirm. Group Joiner departures work differently and are confirmed by the group size shown in that tab.
