You set the pickup time. Most private guests start 2:30 to 3:30 AM for whale sharks, ahead of the shared-boat groups arriving after sunrise. Your guide and vehicle serve only your party all day, so a slow riser or a curious kid never holds up anyone else, and nobody holds you up either. One exception: the whale shark viewing itself happens from a small outrigger boat managed by the Oslob LGU, shared with other guests by local rule, the same for every operator. Every other boat on your itinerary is private to your group, unless you book a joiner boat like Sumilon's or a Group Joiner tour. Add a stop, skip one, or combine two tours in one day, like Whale Shark + Kawasan, since the schedule is yours to shape.
